University Poker Clubs

Many universities have their own university poker clubs. Contact your students union or sports society to find out more, or alternatively use the list below to find out who to contact. University poker clubs often play in tournaments against similar clubs and a UK Student Poker Championship exists.

The UK Student Poker Championship is a No Limit Texas Holdem Tournament, with hundreds of students from all over the UK competing. was first held in 2005 in St Andrews, Scotland, over 2 days, with a field of 259 players competing for glory (at the time the largest ever live poker tournament in the UK).
