19 Year old poker player Brian Hastings has won his biggest single poker pot ever (after making over $1,200,000in ten days) playing Pot-Limit Omaha on poker site Fulltilt Poker.
In a six handed cash game featuring some of the best Pot Limit Omaha players in the world, Hastings went up against poker elite David Benyamine and Patrick Antonius. On a flop of a Jc 7s 5c, all the money went into the middle with Brian as a big favorite. Benyamine held Sevens and Jacks for top two pair. Patrik Antonius held Queens for a meagre one pair, and Hastings held a monster hand with 9c 8s 7c 5d for bottom two pair, a flush draw, and several straight draws.
Despite Benyamine’s top two pair being in the lead on the flop, Hastings was a massive favorite with almost 60% equity in the pot compared with Benyamines 33.5% equity and Antonius’ 6.5% shot. Click here to View the hand history for the hand in question.
