European Shorthanded Poker Championship Announced

Online poker site Chilipoker.com has announced the first ever European Short Handed Poker Championship. This 6-max championship event is the first ever totally short-handed live poker festival, and is expected to draw some of the best online and live poker players in the world.

The festival will be held in between 4th – 7th June 2009 in Dublin, Ireland at the Ballsbridge Inn. The Main Event buy-in is €1000+€100, with a Guaranteed €150,000 prize pool .

The capacity for the main event is 300 players and online satellites will be starting soon on chilipoker.com. All of the cash-games and side events will be 6 players maximum, which means this really is not one to be missed for 6-max cash and tournament specialists alike.

Chilipoker will be running satellites and super satellites from the 23rd of April 2009 with packages worth $2500 to attended the inaugural European Short-Handed Poker Championships. The packages include the main event buy in, flights and accommodation.
